Our FW 24-25 flat knitting collections presented at Pitti Filati 93

Pitti Games, the inspiring theme of Pitti Immagine Filati 93, is in line with the mood of the Marchi & Fildi, ECOTEC®, and Filidea collections: a desire to experiment, assert oneself, dare with irony, push creativity one step further, and create new balances.

The installation designed by Fausto Caletti, the stylist responsible for the development of the collections for the three brands, incorporates this playful attitude into the booth setup. A series of soft stuffed bunnies, customized with fabrics that interpret the yarns of the season, create a lively and playful atmosphere and pay homage to the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese calendar.

Filidea fashion yarns: timeless elegance and soft surfaces for natural and biodegradable fibers

With its FW 2024-25 collection, Filidea offers a variety of yarns for contemporary, breathable knitwear of timeless elegance, while paying attention to the provenance of the fibers and functional components in sustainable, resistant blends.
Filidea’s identity is rooted in the following unwavering commitments: the selection of natural, certified fibers and biodegradable blends, attention to the performance of the yarns in union with the sensibilities of the fashion world, and the environmental sustainability of the production cycle.

The common characteristic of the proposals, which cover a very wide range of yarns and types of use, is their softness. The yarns with their soft feel provide a multi-sensory experience of lightness and pleasure with caressing wearability.
The colour chart has been renewed with sophisticated tones which make reference to luxury icons. The overview of the collection is available in pink tones with warm and cool tones inspired by the colours of make-up.

The new yarn Velvet, 85% organic Supima cotton with extra-long fiber and 15% ultra-fine 14,5 μ Merino wool, sublimates the concept of the qualitative selection of the fibers and provides a soft, velvety yarn, ideal for high- end clothing.
The proposal in cashmere blends includes Oleg, a luminous, light yarn in cashmere and Bemberg™ Cupro; and the qualities in organic cotton and cashmere Cleopatra and Selene, both GOTS certified.
The selection of organic cotton and extra-fine Merino, perfect for transeasonal knitwear, are suitable for different types of processes. In addition to Woolcot (Nm 18/2), Filidea’s best-seller with GOTS certification, we also find two RWS-certified yarns: the fine Oliver (Nm 2/30, 4/30) and the medium thickness yarn Hedi (Nm 3750). Scott combines the properties of Bemberg™ Cupro, the certified regenerated cellulose fiber, with extra-fine Merino wool with RWS certification.

Marchi & Fildi fashion yarns: sustainable and functional knitwear that follows the circular economy

The centrality of the sustainable, certified yarns created in a circular economy meets the attitude towards functionality and essentiality as inspired by street style trends. The yarns, light, soft and with a sleek wearability, are perfect for creating clear-cut geometric motifs, transeasonal clothing and multi-layer looks.
The overview of the collection explores tonalities of greys and underlines a feisty, urban spirit.

The cellulose-based yarns are ideal for transeasonal proposals and offer different hands and lustres: the soft Narnali, in cotton and LENZING™ Modal; Vergaio, 100% LENZING™ Lyocell A100, with its exquisite silky hand; and Accademia, a LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, light and lively.

The ECOTEC® technology, which uses pre- and post-consumer waste products to give life to yarns of superior quality and for the most part GRS-certified, is the protagonist of various qualities with the feel and look of wool.
The new Street is a blend in LENZING™ Lyocell Refibra™, polyacrylic and recycled cotton originating from denim and GRS-certified: a yarn with a huge personality and an energetic mood bringing together the spirit of denim with plains and faded looks.
Matisse is a versatile, lightweight blend in ECOTEC® cotton, polyacrylic, viscose and wool, also with GRS certification, while Lambada is a boutoné yarn with a Tweed look in ECOTEC® cotton and polyacrylic.
